Grand View Golf Course
Grand View Golf Course is rated 4 1/2 stars on Golf Advisor and 12th in the state. The course is a par 71 with a unique island green on our signature hole, #8. Grand View is cut through beautiful rolling terrain with breathtaking views on many elevated tees. We offer a driving range, practice green, and picnic facilities for groups. We are open Late March – early November, weather permitting.
Little Sauble Point Lighthouse
The tall conical light was constructed in 1874 to mark a sandy headland on this lightly populated stretch of Lake Michigan’s coast. Little Sauble remains virtually unchanged. Its materials were transported to the site by water. Built of red brick, which was originally whitewashed, the 107 foot tower retains its original third-order lens and the light is still in service. Little Sauble Point is now open for tours.
Cherry Point Farm & Market
Cherry Point Farm is one of the oldest operating farms in Oceana County, Michigan; just a mile from the Lake Michigan shoreline and minutes from the Silver Lake sand dunes. The Bull family began operating the farm in 1949 and soon after opened a fruit market. Join us for a fish boil, a walk in the labyrinth and herb garden, a quick stop to pick up fresh produce for dinner and a cherry strudel or turnovers for breakfast.
Parrot’s Landing
The excitement of Silver Lake starts at Parrot’s Landing, with recreational rentals for great family fun on the sand and water. Take on the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in a rugged Jeep Wrangler. If you enjoy the water, ski or tube across the many nearby lakes while being towed by one of our 17′ Open Bow Ski-Boats. For even more action, launch a powerful Jet Ski Wave Runner into the waves of Lake Michigan.
Flip City Disc Golf Course
Flip City is disc golfing’s “Field of Dreams”. Beautiful 35 acre course, created, and maintained by Bill MacKenzie since 1980. Simply amazing. Extreme elevation changes, alternative tees. Course length: 7679 ft-PRO, 5693 ft-AM, and 5211 ft-JR. $3 all day. Sorry NO DOGS, or night golf. Bring bug spray. Port-a-potties on site. Open dawn till 1 1/2 hours before dark. Last group out at 3:30 PM. Closed Wednesday afternoons for league.
Oceana Historical Park Museum Complex
Oceana County Historical & Genealogical Society has the Oceana Historical Park Museum Complex. Admission is free. The park is a set of structures and buildings throughout Hart and Mears in Western Michigan. The main Oceana County Historical Park itself, located in Mears which is about 4 miles from Hart, has the majority of the museums and associated buildings.

Muskegon Winter Sports Complex
Don’t wait for snow. Luge in the Summer. Slide down the only wheel luge track in North America! Wheel luge is done on a specially designed track with the same sleds we use on the ice, but with wheels attached. The track is separate from the ice track, and is a great learning tool to introduce participants to the sport year-round! The design of the track, adaptive equipment and surrounding common areas also accommodate persons with disabilities. Despite being shorter and slower than our ice track, it still delivers a lot of fun, with the average run taking approximately 9 seconds while covering 300 feet of track.
Cedar Creek Motorsport Trail
The Cedar Creek Motorsport Trail near Twin Lake is maintained by the USDA Forest Service. This 24-mile, single-track trail winds along flat to rolling terrain. The hilliest section is south of the staging area. The trail parallels Cedar Creek for several miles and has two bridge crossings. The entire trail is marked with orange triangle confidence markers.

Port of Ludington Maritime Museum
Great Lakes Naval Memorial & Museum
Tour the most famous surviving submarine of WWII: USS Silversides and 1927 Coast Guard Cutter USCGC McLane. The museum offers temporary exhibits as well as an extensive permanent collection highlighting the role of submarines in World War II, submarine technology and construction. It includes artifacts like torpedoes, depth charges, uniforms and personal effects formerly belonging to soldiers, sailors, pilots and submariners. Visitors will find nautical instruments, including a functioning periscope, and fully accurate paratrooper.

Claybanks Pottery opened at the existing New Era, Michigan location on January 1st, 1980. In the early years before the studio was built, the potters traveled to art fairs to sell their pottery. Today, Claybanks Pottery sells the majority of their work from their New Era studio. Customers return each year and are greeted as family as they walk into the door of this amazing studio.
